Atlas Ties Don’t Crack Under Pressure

At Atlas Ties, our manufacturing and quality control experts inspect and test every delivery of incoming plastic. After the thorough examination, the mixture of plastic is fed into our patented processing equipment and the then into the molds. Next, Each product are inspected, measured then tested to verify that they meet our quality specifications. The Atlas site and process are AAR M-1003 compliant, we use Statistical Process Control (SPC) to ensure that the quality is integrated all the way through the design and process of each rail tie. We are always testing and retesting our ties to ensure the highest quality and performance.

Atlas ties have undergone extensive performance tests from independent testing facilities, like The American Railway Association’s world recognized Transportation Technology Center, Inc. (TTCI), www.aar.com, in Pueblo, Colorado.
